Meet Nader!
For Nader, nutrition isn't about standard protocols—it's about the unique story each person brings to the table. This is why he started BNC, to treat the whole person, not just the symptoms.
Nader is a Registered Dietitian with a deep clinical background, he earned his undergraduate degree from San Francisco State University before completing his Master’s in Nutrition with honors at California State University, Northridge. He honed his expertise within some of California’s leading healthcare systems, including UCLA, Sutter Health, and Kaiser Permanente, managing diverse needs across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Over the course of his career, Nader found his true passion in supporting individuals breaking free from eating disorders and the chronic dieting cycle. Moving away from rigid, one-size-fits-all advice, he uses evidence-based practices to help clients redefine their relationship with food. By deeply considering every individual's cultural background, genetics, and personal history, Nader provides personalized, compassionate guidance that empowers people to achieve true, lasting well-being.
Meet Hoda!
Besides BNC, Hoda is a Clinical Dietitian at UCLA Medical Center where she works with critically-ill patients.
She grew up in southern California and received her Bachelor’s degree from UCLA. She also obtained a four-year graduate degree in Nutrition & Dietetics at California State University, Northridge. She then obtained her degree as a Registered Dietitian, Nutritionist after conducting her clinical rotations at Cedars Sinai Hospital.
Throughout her training and current work, Hoda seeks to provide patients with optimal and research-based nutrition therapy. She believes heavily in the power of food and nutrition slowing the progression of and preventing disease. It has been a passion of hers to help others in this manner. She hopes to be able to help the general population make better health choices that are easy to implement. She does not subscribe to fad diets and unrealistic lifestyles.
Meet Jenifer!
Jenifer is a Clinical Dietitian with nearly a decade of experience across multiple leading hospitals in the Los Angeles area. Since 2015, she has focused her skills in clinical nutrition, dedicating the past six-plus years specifically to pediatric care. As a Board Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition (CSP)—a credential that reflects her deep commitment to the highest standard of care—Jenifer supports children and families navigating everything from childhood obesity and picky eating to complex medical cases involving oncology, tube feeding, parenteral nutrition, and gastrointestinal issues.
Jenifer believes in treating each patient as an individual. By listening closely to each family's unique needs, she uses evidence-based practices to guide every step of their nutrition journey.
Outside of her clinical practice, Jenifer is a proud mom and a self-proclaimed food lover who believes in the power of balanced nutrition to transform lives. When she isn't working, she is likely chasing after her son or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, always striving to make nutrition fun and approachable for the whole family.
Meet Amruta!
A Registered Dietitian since 2014, Amruta completed her Didactic Program in Dietetics and Medical Nutrition Therapy internship at Montclair State University. Before joining the team at Bay Nutrition Clinic (BNC), she built a diverse clinical background across multiple nutrition settings, including drug and alcohol rehabilitation, skilled nursing facilities, and acute care. Today, she brings that valuable decade of experience to BNC, where she splits her time between helping clients build healthy lifestyles and providing specialized enteral nutrition support for patients undergoing treatment for head and neck cancer. She also brings a deep understanding of culturally diverse and ethnic diets to the practice.
In her counseling at BNC, Amruta focuses heavily on chronic disease management—including high blood pressure, diabetes, cardiovascular health, and weight management. By taking a personalized, one-on-one approach, she works closely with clients to understand their unique barriers and challenges. Rather than offering quick fixes, she emphasizes sustainable lifestyle changes through practical behavior modification strategies, habit stacking, mindful eating, and intuitive eating practices. She also holds a certificate in obesity and weight management through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Outside of her clinical work, Amruta stays active through regular workouts and enjoys cooking, experimenting with new recipes, and writing poetry. To offer an even more holistic approach to wellness for BNC clients, she is currently studying to become a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, with the goal of helping individuals design exercise plans that perfectly complement their nutrition goals.
